The University of Michigan is seeking an HR Generalist Intermediate to support OEM HR programs and services. The role provides guidance on policies, promotes employee education, and ensures regulatory compliance while responding to talent acquisition needs and other HR matters.

Reporting to the HR Director, the position covers full-cycle HR activities, may assist with training initiatives, and contributes to staff engagement programs that foster growth and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of HR experience, preferably at the generalist/specialist level.
• Experience with Oracle/PeopleSoft HRMS or similar systems.
• Working knowledge of relevant federal and state employment laws.
• Possesses a flexible, customer service-oriented, problem-solving attitude and a willingness to work successfully in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, while fostering productive collaboration and positive working relationships.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Google applications.
