Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking an HR professional to execute plans across EEO/AAP, Staffing, Compensation/Benefits, Training, and Employee Relations at the assigned location. You will interpret policies, laws, and regulations, and support projects as needed.

Key duties include resolving associate relations issues, assisting with unemployment hearings, benefits enrollment, HR reporting, and supporting HRIS training and leadership development initiatives. Overnight travel minimal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a field related to the job.
• 2 years of work experience minimum.
• Must be eighteen years or older and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Experience in HR areas such as EEO/AAP, Staffing, Compensation/Benefits, Training, Organizational Development, or Employee Relations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolve associate relations issues, conduct investigations, and assist with unemployment claim information and hearings.
• Identify breaches of culture/values and provide guidance on corporate policy.
• Assist in communication and enrollment of employee benefits programs.
• Analyze HR reports, identify opportunities/trends, and propose action plans.
• Assist HRIS-related training and provide transaction support.
• Support HRM in delivering training initiatives.
• Assist in leadership position selection.
