Toyota Tsusho America, Inc. in South Carolina seeks an HR Professional to champion employee relations and compliance.

You will partner with management, handle investigations, onboarding, payroll questions, LOA management, and talent development while ensuring policy adherence and legal compliance. On-site role with up to 25% travel; SHRM preferred; bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of HR experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years in HR with employee relations, investigations, or compliance.
• Experience handling ADA and FMLA matters is preferred.
• SHRM certification encouraged but not required.
• Ability to work on-site five days per week; up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for employees and liaise between staff and management.
• Educate and coach management to align with company HR policies.
• Serve as primary contact for employee complaints and reports.
• Communicate policies, forms, and hotline resources to employees.
• Lead investigations and report findings to HR and Legal.
• Advise local management on disciplinary actions and corrective actions.
• Assist staffing, recruiting, onboarding, and orientations.
