Asbury Automotive Group is seeking an HR Generalist dedicated to building strong relationships and delivering exceptional guest experiences across our automotive operations. You will partner with corporate leaders on confidential HR matters and special projects.

The position emphasizes employee relations, policy interpretation, investigations, onboarding, and compliance with federal and state regulations. A dynamic, people-focused professional will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field is required or preferred.
• 3 years of HR generalist experience required or equivalent.
• Employee relations experience a must; strong compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate resolution of employee relations issues and administer progressive discipline and performance improvement plans.
• Consult with team members and managers on HR policies and labor laws.
• Provide advice and interpretation on HR programs, policies, and organizational issues to managers and staff.
• Respond to needs of corporate leaders and team members promptly.
• Conduct and document investigations into workplace complaints with interviews of staff and managers.
• Analyze notes to arrive at conclusions, recommendations and action plans.
• Prepare reports and summaries of findings for management.
• Disposition candidates through pre-employment and onboarding processes for a smooth experience.
• Facilitate New Staff Orientation for corporate staff.
• Process terminations and identify best practices for employee relations issues.
