Job summary

Valence is seeking an HR Generalist to support Seattle site leadership and HR teams. You will manage recruitment, onboarding, benefits communication, and employee relations to promote a positive workplace.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field and at least 1 year of HR experience, with strong emphasis on compliance, timekeeping, payroll support, and reporting. This is a full-time, on-site position in Seattle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of HR experience.
• Salary range - $65,000 - 75,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site leadership and HR team to administer HR plans, procedures and initiatives.
• Engage with employees to understand needs and provide solutions aligned to company practices.
• Handle recruitment for exempt and non-exempt positions.
• Manage onboarding of new employees and ensure positive experience.
• Perform benefit administration including open enrollment and communicate information to employees.
• Maintain HRIS records and generate reports for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations (timekeeping, leave, payroll, etc.).
• Collaborate on safety and wellbeing initiatives with EH&S.
