Job summary

CHS Career Site is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to provide comprehensive HR support across assigned departments, handling employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, training, policy implementation, and compliance while fostering a positive work environment.

You will manage onboarding, orientation, benefits questions, HRIS record-keeping, exit processes, and data-driven initiatives with leadership to maintain internal equity and support organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, HR Management, or related field required
• Master's Degree in Human Resources, HR Management, or related field preferred
• 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources required

Responsibilities

• Conducts interviews and facilitates onboarding activities, including new hire orientation and training coordination.
• Provides employee relations support and counseling per company policies.
• Maintains HRIS records and processes personnel actions (promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations).
• Conducts exit interviews and offboarding procedures; ensures access revocation.
• Uses turnover, retention, and engagement metrics to help set departmental goals.
• Advises leadership on pay practices and internal equity; supports compensation discussions.
• Interprets and communicates policies from the employee handbook to staff.
• Supports rewards and recognition programs across corporate and hospital locations.
