Pratt Industries, Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an HR Generalist for the North Central Converting Division. The role oversees recruitment, benefits, regulatory compliance, and HR operations across the plant, reporting to the HR Manager.

The candidate will handle high-volume recruiting, maintain HR records, and collaborate with managers to resolve employee relations issues in a fast-paced environment. Occasional travel is required.

Aufgaben

• Direct all phases of employment, including advertising, recruiting, interviewing, testing, placement, orientation, and unemployment hearings.
• Lead high-volume recruiting objectives.
• Investigate hotline calls and employee complaints to seek timely resolution.
• Administer benefits including medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, FMLA and vacation/sick leave.
• Serve as primary contact to managers and employees; report to HR Manager.
• Maintain HR reports and records per state and federal laws.
• Maintain and update personnel and I-9 files.
• Assist in managing temporary agencies supplying labor and ensure agency compliance with Pratt Hiring Criteria.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Travel to other locations as designated.
• Multi-task and manage multiple deadlines.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.
