Job summary

The NACD is seeking an HR Generalist to support the growth and modernization of the HR department, working with the SVP, Human Resources to implement programs for our evolving organization.

You will provide comprehensive HR support across the organization, ensure policy implementation, manage Paycor data, benefits, onboarding, training, performance processes, and help maintain an inclusive, confidential workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, psychology or related field; 4+ years HR/admin experience.
• Knowledge of employment law and general HR practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment by drafting ads, scheduling interviews, handling references and background checks.
• Assist payroll and benefits changes; ensure Paycor data accuracy and reconcile enrollments.
• Maintain Paycor data integrity and HR records; automate tasks where possible.
• Administer benefits enrollment and assist with monthly provider invoices.
• Support learning, development, and performance management processes; manage calendars and reports.
