Job summary

NORD Gear Corporation is seeking a knowledgeable HR Generalist to provide comprehensive HR support across payroll, employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, and compliance. You will partner with the Senior HR Manager to implement HR policies and drive best practices across the organization.

The role covers administering HR programs, maintaining the employee handbook, and supporting safety, training, and HRIS activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant HR experience will be considered.
• Two to five years of HR experience required.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities; strong organizational and time management skills.
• Interaction with a wide variety of personalities in a fluctuating work environment; good listening, speaking and presenting skills.
• Travel to remote facilities may be required.

Responsibilities

• Administer HR plans and policies; develop, implement, maintain, and administer personnel policies and employee handbook.
• Act as HR consultant to management on programs, processes, policies, and employment laws.
• Lead recruitment for professional, office, production, and temporary positions.
• Manage payroll lead and admin across all locations; oversee safety initiatives.
• Maintain HRIS and generate reports (safety, turnover, org charts, training records).
• Oversee timekeeping processes and performance management activities.
• Support investigations, disciplinary actions, and exit procedures.
• Evaluate HR processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency.
