Job summary

S&K Building Services is seeking an HR Generalist to build strong relationships, streamline processes, and create exceptional employee experiences across the organization. You will act as a trusted advisor, culture champion, recruiter, and change agent, working proactively to improve programs and engagement from day one.

The role focuses on full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, benefits, payroll, and HR operations, with a strong emphasis on supporting technicians and operational staff while driving

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Experience in full-cycle recruiting, employee relations, and HR administration.
• Experience recruiting for technician, skilled trades, field service, or similar positions.
• Experience administering employee benefits and supporting payroll activities.
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience using HRIS, applicant tracking systems, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office. Isolved is a plus!
• Proven ability to improve processes, programs, or employee experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts from sourcing through hiring for technician and operational roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop recruiting strategies.
• Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines and manage postings and communications.
• Own onboarding, revamp orientation programs, and ensure a smooth new hire experience.
• Advise managers on HR policies, employee relations, and performance management.
• Support benefits, payroll, HRIS data, and compliance reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement in recruiting, onboarding, engagement, and retention.
