Job summary

Six Degrees Search is partnering with a Wheaton, IL-based financial services firm to identify an HR Generalist – Benefits & Recruiting. This hands-on role combines recruiting, benefits administration, HR operations, and office operations in a lean environment.

The successful candidate will manage end-to-end recruiting, onboard new hires, coordinate benefits and open enrollment, maintain records, and collaborate with leadership on HR processes to support growth.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3–10 years of progressive HR experience.
• Hands-on experience with recruiting, onboarding, and employee benefits administration.
• Experience or exposure within financial services is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination.
• Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation.
• Coordinate employee benefits programs and open enrollment.
• Support HR compliance, policies, and employee communications.
• Develop and improve HR policies, procedures, workflows, and internal processes.
