Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our client in Waterbury, CT. This hands-on role supports employees and managers across a fast-paced manufacturing environment, handling onboarding, payroll support, employee relations, and policy administration.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in HR Generalist roles, experience with HRIS/payroll systems (ADP is a plus), and a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.

HR Generalist

A well-established manufacturing company in Waterbury, CT is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their team. This is a hands-on role supporting employees and managers across a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and employee relations
• Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee documentation
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring for hourly and salaried positions
• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data
• Handle employee relations matters and help address workplace concerns
• Assist with benefits administration and employee questions
• Support payroll processes and ensure accurate employee information
• Assist with performance management, attendance tracking, and disciplinary processes
• Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state employment regulations
• Assist with HR reporting, audits, and other administrative projects
• Partner with management to support employee engagement and retention initiatives
• Help develop and maintain HR policies and procedures

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR Generalist or similar HR experience
• Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or other fast-paced onsite environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, and employment laws
• Experience with an HRIS/payroll system; ADP experience is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Comfortable working independently and partnering with employees at all levels
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field preferred
