Job summary

Addison Group is partnering with an established organization in New Hampshire to recruit an experienced HR Generalist. This hands-on role focuses on recruiting, employee support, benefits administration, HR systems, and HR programs within a collaborative HR function.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of HR experience, 3+ years in full-cycle recruiting, and proven ability to manage multiple priorities with confidentiality and integrity in a hybrid work environment in Salem, NH.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience in an HR Generalist role.
  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • Experience supporting multiple areas of HR, including benefits, HRIS, compliance, and employee programs.
  • Experience working with an HRIS and applicant tracking system.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruiting process from job postings and candidate sourcing through interviews, offers, pre-employment steps, and onboarding.
  • Support employee benefits administration, including enrollments, qualifying events, annual enrollment, and employee questions.
  • Coordinate leave-related processes and maintain appropriate documentation.
  • Maintain employee information and process HR transactions within the organization’s HRIS.
  • Assist with annual HR initiatives including performance management, compensation processes, employee surveys, and goal setting.
  • Support HR compliance, audits, reporting, records, and documentation.
  • Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding HR policies, programs, benefits, and general processes.
  • Partner with the HR team on special projects and process improvements as needed.
  • Handle sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism.

Job Description:

The HR Generalist will support a broad range of day-to-day human resources functions, with a strong focus on recruiting, employee support, benefits administration, HR systems, and ongoing HR programs. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys working across multiple areas of HR and can effectively manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and attention to detail.
