Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; an associate degree may be considered with experience.
  • 3–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Experience in an HR Generalist or similar broad HR role.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct HR audits to ensure records are accurate and compliant.
  • Manage recruiting activity through an ATS and monitor open positions.
  • Partner with leaders to address recruitment challenges and maintain pipelines.
  • Provide guidance on employee lifecycle, compensation, development, and org changes.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee and manager HR questions.
  • Assist with employee relations, documentation, and policy guidance.
  • Prepare and organize confidential HR documentation.
  • Respond to unemployment claims and employment verifications.
  • Maintain HRIS data including compensation and reporting relationships.

Pay: $65,000–$68,000 annually + bonus eligibility

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

About The Company:

Our client, a growing healthcare organization is seeking an HR Generalist to support a dynamic workforce and provide comprehensive Human Resources services.

Job Overview:

The HR Generalist will provide broad HR support across employee relations, recruiting, compliance, HR administration, and employee lifecycle activities. This role is ideal for an HR professional with several years of experience who is looking to continue developing their generalist skill set while working closely with employees, managers, and HR leadership. The successful candidate will be highly organized, personable, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling confidential employee matters. Occasional travel may be required to support HR initiatives at other locations, with travel expenses covered.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine HR audits and reviews to ensure employee records and processes remain accurate and compliant.
  • Research discrepancies identified during audits and coordinate appropriate corrections.
  • Manage recruiting activity through an Applicant Tracking System and monitor open positions.
  • Partner with hiring leaders to address recruiting challenges and maintain healthy candidate pipelines.
  • Provide guidance and support related to employee lifecycle processes, compensation, development initiatives, and organizational changes.
  • Serve as an initial point of contact for employee and manager HR questions.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, including workplace concerns, documentation, and policy guidance.
  • Prepare, maintain, and organize confidential HR documentation.
  • Respond to unemployment claims and employment verification requests in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate employee information within the HRIS, including compensation, job information, and reporting relationships.
  • Review HR data for accuracy and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Assist with onboarding, compliance activities, special projects, and other general HR functions as needed.
  • Travel occasionally to support employee relations matters, presentations, or other HR initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred; an associate degree may be considered depending on experience.
  • 3–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Experience in an HR Generalist or similar broad HR role.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms; Paycom experience is a plus.
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Knowledge of employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and HR administration.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, inconsistencies, and potential areas of improvement.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus but not required.
  • Positive, approachable, dependable, and collaborative personality.
