Job description

We have a small Non-Profit in San Jose, CA seeking an HR Director on a full-time basis.

Client has 45 employees and growing. This is their first HR hire for the team and would report to the Executive Director.

This position would be 100% onsite!

Hours are 8-5pm daily

Pay is DOE but the range is $100K-$125K

This Non-Profit has been using an HR Consultancy Company for the past 5 years and finally large enough where they need a full-time head count.

Position would start ASAP!

Duties and Projects will include :

  • Performance management
  • Employee relations and investigations
  • Compensation review
  • Staffing and Recruitment strategies
  • Executive level support with coaching and counseling
  • Main point of contact for company wide policy implementation / changes

Qualifications :

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience supporting within the technology industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • Preferred : Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; PHR / SPHR Certification
  • Specialized training and in-depth knowledge of federal and state employment law and regulations with emphasis on wage & hour, ERISA and compensation
