Job summary

Dell Technologies is seeking an HR Intern in Round Rock, TX, to contribute to data-driven people strategies and AI-enabled HR initiatives. You will work across HR functions, develop foundational skills, and participate in learning and mentorship opportunities during the summer.

You’ll analyze data, tell stories with insights, and help shape employee experiences using technology and design thinking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ongoing graduate student in MIS, Business Analytics, I/O Psychology, Human Resources, Data Science, or related area.
• Interest in HR, people analytics, workforce technology, or the intersection of data and people – demonstrated through coursework, projects, clubs, research or internships.
• Data literacy – comfort working with data, identifying trends, and using insights to inform recommendations. Excel proficiency is expected.
• Strong drive for results, intellectual curiosity, and learning agility.
• Effective collaborator with strong communication skills who can work across teams and functions.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt, and solve problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive key HR priorities related to your project(s), working both individually and collaboratively to deliver measurable outcomes.
• Apply data analysis and storytelling to surface workflow insights and inform HR decisions.
• Participate in human-centered design thinking to improve employee experience.
• Explore and orchestrate AI tools to HR workflows and think critically about where they help, where they fall short, and how to verify outputs ethically.
• Build strategic partnerships across the business, applying change management and market awareness to influence and drive results.
• Present recommendations, data-driven insights, and results to HR leaders, incorporating stakeholder feedback and business context.
• Actively participate in learning and development sessions, mentorship, and professional networking throughout the summer.
