Job summary

Vicente’s Supermarket is seeking an HR Coordinator to serve as a central point of support for HR operations across recruitment, onboarding, and HRIS data management. You will work with store managers to support hiring needs and maintain accurate records.

You will own the online application system, coordinate end-to-end recruitment, lead onboarding for new hires, and ensure compliance in HR documentation. This role also covers payroll processing, reporting, and benefits enrollment coordination

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of HR, administrative, or recruiting support experience.
• Experience scheduling interviews and coordinating recruitment processes.
• Experience with onboarding/new hire integration routines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for documents and deadlines.
• Good communication with candidates, hiring managers, and HR team.
• Proficiency with Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRIS/ATS familiarity.
• Ability to manage multiple schedules and priorities and prepare HR reports.

Responsibilities

• Enter and update department schedules in the HRIS system with store managers.
• Partner with managers on store-level hiring needs and recruitment processes.
• Own and maintain the online application system — uptime, upgrades, and avoiding lost applications.
• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment: job postings, resume screening, interviews, candidate communication.
• Lead onboarding for new employees and enrollments.
• Keep HR documentation organized, accurate, and compliant.
• Prepare HR reports and metrics such as turnover, headcount, and time-to-hire.
• Process weekly payroll, correct timesheet errors, manage PTO time, and handle terminations.
• Distribute payroll reports and track weekly labor budgets for leadership review.
• Maintain Paycor records, processing terminations and new hires, and ensure proper cost centers.
• Coordinate unemployment claims and workers’ compensation incident reporting.
• Maintain mappings and updates with department leads twice monthly.
