Job summary

Websitecommerce is seeking a Human Resources Associate to support the HR and training team, handling onboarding, payroll/benefits, and performance processes. The role also leads talent recruitment efforts, ensuring DEI-focused hiring and compliance across local and federal laws.

The position reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer and requires confidentiality, strong organization, and excellent communication. Occasional travel between White Bear Lake and Wayzata offices is expected.

Qualifications

• Administrative or HR assistant experience in a mid-size organization.
• Experience using media platforms to support recruitment and sourcing.
• Knowledge of HRIS systems including reporting and applicant tracking.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with timely results.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws preferred.
• Discretion and confidentiality in handling HR matters.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to HR and training teams.
• Triaging employee HR questions via voicemail/email.
• Maintain HRIS database, filing, and archiving.
• Manage employee onboarding, payroll/benefits, and performance processes.
• Coordinate recruitment activities and candidate interviews.
• Ensure compliance with wage and employment laws.
• Support DEI initiatives and employee engagement events.
• Prepare HR documents and communications.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding procedures.
