Job summary

International Paper is seeking an HR Coordinator at our San Antonio facility to support managers and employees in HR-related areas. This full-time role interfaces with the Site Manager and HR Manager to coordinate recruiting, onboarding, and payroll processes.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years HR admin experience, a college degree in HR or related field, and knowledge of Oracle. The position emphasizes confidentiality, accuracy, and proactive problem-solving in a union manufacturing

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years general administrative HR experience.
• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field; PHR preferred.
• Experience with Oracle HR/payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Supports managers and employees at the facility in HR-related areas.
• Coordinates selection processes for hourly positions and onboarding.
• Maintains HR-related files and records per policy.
• Ensures accurate coding by job classification, shift, and department.
• Processes HR forms and responds to employee questions.
• Supports benefits administration and open enrollment.
• Assists with unemployment claims and related hearings.
• Losters to improve employee engagement and liaise with management.
• May assist in payroll-related tasks and general admin duties.
