Job summary

International Paper is seeking an HR Coordinator at the Gilroy facility to support managers and staff in HR processes, recruitment, onboarding, payroll coding and records management. This is a non-exempt, salaried full-time role reporting to the Plant GM with a dotted line to the Region HR Manager.

You will coordinate hourly recruitment, posting, screening, onboarding, and pre-employment checks, maintain HR records, and ensure accurate payroll classification and attendance tracking while

Qualifications

• Three or more years of general administrative HR experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field desirable.
• Experience with Oracle and MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Support facility managers and staff in HR-related activities and processes.
• Coordinate hourly recruitment, posting, screening, onboarding, and pre-employment checks.
• Maintain HR records and ensure accurate payroll classification and attendance tracking.
• Respond to HR questions and handle benefits, FMLA, and unemployment procedures.
• Maintain compliance with federal contractor requirements and records retention.
