Job summary

Reser's Fine Foods, Inc. in Memphis, TN is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to coordinate HR and payroll activities, support onboarding, and assist with benefits administration in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will handle payroll coordination, new hire orientation, employee relations support, recruiting assistance, and file maintenance, while ensuring compliance with HR policies and employment laws.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
• High School Diploma is required, Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Excellent PC skills with prior HRIS experience.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
• Experience in high growth, small or mid-size manufacturing company is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the administration and communication of employee benefits and assists employees through the new hire and open enrollment process.
• Coordinates payroll activities and audits for errors.
• Conducts new hire orientation and oversight of onboarding process.
• Provides employee relations support and may provide coverage for HR Generalist or HR Manager during periods of absence.
• Provides employees and managers with information on benefit and compensation programs including leaves of absence.
• Assists with recruiting and reviews employment applications to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants; may assist with interviews.
• Records and completes unemployment claims and workers compensation claims.
• Files and analyzes I-9 forms for accuracy.
• Creates and maintains employee files.
