Job summary

Reser’s is seeking an experienced HR leader to manage a team of HR and payroll staff at our Memphis facility. You will guide recruitment, onboarding, retention, safety programs, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws while partnering with site leadership.

Responsibilities include educating employees on policies, overseeing leaves and workers’ compensation, time and attendance, and coordinating HR initiatives and training programs for facility staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years HR experience required with supervisory exposure
• Bachelor’s Degree in human resources or related field or equivalent experience
• Excellent computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office and HRIS
• Knowledge of all federal, state, and local employment laws and procedures
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Excellent written/verbal/interpersonal communication skills
• PHR/SPHR certification preferred
• English/Spanish bilingual preferred when location requires

Responsibilities

• Leads, supports, and develops a team of HR and payroll staff
• Provides guidance on safety activities and practices
• Manages site recruiting, onboarding, and retention programs
• Advises leadership on HR policies and practices
• Educates production employees on HR programs and policies
• Ensures compliance with employment laws at the site
• Educates employees on company policies and procedures
• Investigates employee relations matters and recommends resolutions
• Manages state and federal leaves and Workers’ Compensation
• Oversees time and attendance tracking for payroll
• Oversees training programs and development initiatives
• Manages production safety program and its effectiveness
• May develop production facility recognition programs and events
• Partners with Corporate HR to manage risk and escalated situations
• Regular attendance and punctuality required
