Job summary

Northlake Behavioral Health System is seeking an upbeat HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team in a behavioral health environment. This in-person role supports the full employee experience, helping ensure employees are set up for success so they can focus on patient care.

Located in Mandeville, LA, the HR Assistant handles onboarding, records, compliance, and serves as the first contact for HR visitors, partnering with Payroll to support leaders and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years HR experience or a Bachelor's degree in HR required.
• Healthcare experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-employment and onboarding activities for new hires.
• Track background checks, drug screens, and required verifications.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
• Support compliance documentation and employee file organization.
• Assist with orientation preparation and HR administrative support.
• Serve as a first point of contact for HR visitors and inquiries.
• Partner with the HR Team & Payroll to support leaders and staff.
