Job summary

Northshore Rehabilitation Hospital in Lacombe, LA is seeking an on-site Human Resources Coordinator to partner with hospital leadership and the HR Shared Services team. This hands-on role covers payroll, benefits, data integrity, and the full employee lifecycle.

You will support recruiting, onboarding, policy questions, and employee relations while ensuring compliance with regulations. This role is essential to sustaining a positive, high-performing workplace in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field, or a combination of education and experience required.
• Two or more years of experience in Human Resources.
• Competency in Microsoft Office suite, as well as computer applications relating to HR Functions required.

Responsibilities

• Own and coordinate day-to-day HR operations at the hospital level, ensuring high-quality execution across the employee lifecycle.
• Partner closely with HR Shared Services to deliver payroll, benefits, talent acquisition, employee data, and HR administration support.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and service-oriented resource for employees and leaders.
• Coordinate and support accurate payroll processing, timekeeping, and data integrity.
• Drive and support talent acquisition efforts, including hiring coordination and onboarding.
• Maintain compliance with employment laws, licensing requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Act as local expert for benefits, policies, and HR processes.
• Support employee relations needs with professionalism and discretion.
• Play an active role in building and sustaining a positive, high-performing workplace culture.
• Contribute insights that help shape HR strategy and operational effectiveness at the hospital level.
