Job summary

Visual Comfort & Co. in Houston, TX is seeking an HR Coordinator to partner with employees, managers and the HR team to deliver reliable human resources services.

You will coordinate recruitment, onboarding, maintain records and support compliance and reporting while upholding confidentiality and professionalism. You will manage HRIS data, assist with performance reviews, scheduling interviews, background checks and new hire documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 3–5 years HR support experience.
• Dayforce HRIS experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel skills for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date employee records.
• Serve as first point of contact for HR inquiries from team members.
• Coordinate meetings and employee engagement activities.
• Support performance reviews and onboarding documentation deadlines.
• Process HR documents (verifications, status changes, terminations).
• Maintain HRIS data integrity and run standard reports.
• Provide administrative support to HR team.
• Coordinate recognition programs and SharePoint posts.
• Assist with HR projects and reporting.
