Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Business Management, Psychology or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of HR, recruiting, administrative or customer-service experience preferred.
• Experience working with multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Construction experience is a plus, but not required.
• Comfort with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint.
• HRIS, ATS or onboarding-system experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruiting for office and field positions.
• Review resumes, assist with candidate screening and coordinate interviews.
• Help create a great candidate experience from first conversation through offer.
• Coordinate onboarding and help welcome new employees to BEAR.
• Assist employees with benefits questions and enrollment.
• Keep employee records and HR systems accurate and organized.
• Assist with HR compliance, including I-9 administration, policy acknowledgments and record retention.
• Track training, certifications and safety onboarding.
• Support HR reporting, dashboards and workforce metrics.
• Help coordinate employee events, wellness initiatives and appreciation activities.
• Support company communications and employee engagement.
• Look for ways to make our HR processes simpler, smarter and better.
• Jump into special HR projects where you’ll have the opportunity to learn something new.
