Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an HR Generalist to assist in daily HR operations in Jessup, MD. The role focuses on onboarding, employee relations, and administering engagement programs to help attract and retain talent across the operating company.

You will support managers, conduct orientations, and contribute to compliance tracking while maintaining confidentiality and working with MS Office tools daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• College degree or Certificate in Human Resources preferred.
• 2-3 years of Human Resources Generalist, Recruitment or Employee Relations experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Execution of transactional core HR processes (e.g. onboarding, unemployment claims, leave administration).
• Support hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to support recruitment and staffing plans.
• Aid HRBP to drive an inclusive and diverse culture.
• Administer programs to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction levels.
• Provides technical, customer relations, and general support for major initiatives and projects.
