Job summary

Friedkin Group in Houston is seeking a HR Consultant I to provide day-to-day HR support across associates and leaders. You will manage HR programs, ensure accurate data, and partner with leaders to improve processes from recruiting to separation.

You will support recruiting and onboarding, maintain job descriptions, manage leaves and separations, and develop HR analytics and reporting to guide business decisions. This role offers growth and exposure within a values-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 1–3 years HR experience or equivalent education with relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of HR practices, policies, and lifecycle processes.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem‑solving, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and escalate when needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR resource for associates and leaders, answering routine questions.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR system data; process changes.
• Coordinate HR programs and activities including leave, reimbursements, and recognition shipments.
• Provide first-level support for Dimensions/Workforce Management.
• Support recruiting activities, including requisitions, scheduling, and onboarding.
• Manage 30-, 90-, and 120-day new hire check-ins.
