Job summary

Connect Search is partnering with a rapidly expanding, industry-leading company to hire an HR Generalist in South Houston. This bilingual HR professional will partner with leadership, support employees, and drive HR initiatives across multiple locations to enhance the employee experience.

You will manage employee relations, investigations, performance management, and onboarding, while ensuring HRIS data integrity and compliance. This is a high-visibility role with senior leadership exposure.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, with strong employee relations and HR operations exposure.
• Experience in construction, industrial, or another operations-focused environment.
• Experience supporting multi-state or multi-location organizations.
• Strong HRIS skills and knowledge of employment practices.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented professional who builds relationships and earns the trust of leadership.
• Bachelor's degree and PHR/SHRM-CP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational leaders to provide day-to-day HR guidance and support.
• Manage employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
• Coach managers on employee engagement, corrective actions, and HR best practices.
• Support onboarding, retention initiatives, workforce planning, and organizational changes.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity, reporting, compliance, and HR processes.
• Help drive HR initiatives and improve the overall employee experience across multiple locations.
