Miller Cooper is seeking an experienced HR professional/consultant to join our Client HR Services team in the Chicago area. This hands-on role partners with client organizations to deliver tailored HR support across various industries.

Responsibilities include supporting onboarding, employee relations, payroll and HRIS, implementing HR policies, and advising management. The position offers a hybrid schedule with on-site client support and remote work.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in human resources, multi‑state experience preferred.
• Clear understanding of HR compliance and current employment law.
• Experience making recommendations to company management both verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency with HRIS and payroll platforms, and other business software.

Responsabilidades

• Support the client’s existing HR function, or help create an HR function for the client.
• Provide hands‑on HR support to client organizations on interim or project basis.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, and retention efforts.
• Administer payroll, benefits, and HRIS processes as needed.
• Recommend and implement HR policies aligned with client goals.
• Manage multiple client engagements and priorities with high service levels.
• Collaborate with Miller Cooper team members on client projects.

Educación

Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field
