Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking an Employee Relations Manager to join our Corporate Human Resources team in a hybrid Chicago setting. The role focuses on guiding investigations, coaching managers, and aligning policy with best practices across the organization.

You will partner with Legal, Compliance, and HR leaders to address workplace concerns, analyze trends, and lead initiatives that support our people-first culture.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of progressive experience in Employee Relations or HR
• Experience conducting investigations and managing complex ER matters
• Knowledge of performance management, coaching, corrective action, and PIP
• Advising leaders on conduct, policy interpretation, conflict resolution
• Partnering with Legal, Compliance, HR COE, and stakeholders on sensitive matters
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with HRIS and ER case management systems
• Ability to analyze ER data and use trends to inform solutions

Responsibilities

• Manage employee relations matters from intake through resolution with documentation and closure
• Conduct workplace investigations and address performance concerns
• Coach managers on performance management and improvement plans
• Guide managers through separations and other employment actions
• Develop and deliver guidance, resources, and training on ER and performance management
• Identify workplace trends using ER data and exit insights to reduce risk
• Lead or contribute to special projects supporting ER priorities
