Job summary

Amazon is seeking an HR Business Partner who provides HR support to a large hourly workforce and business leaders at the Oxnard facility. You will drive talent management, employee engagement, and process excellence, using data-driven insights.

The role balances strategic and tactical duties, may coach entry-level HR staff, and partners with leaders to foster inclusive, high-performing teams while leveraging HR tech in critical moments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• 2+ years of human resources experience or equivalent experiences (e.g., operations, customer service, retail, distribution, shipping/logistics, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing).
• Experience supporting and/or leading employee-focused processes such as onboarding, benefits, investigations, training and/or talent management.
• MBA or Master’s preferred for role.

Responsibilities

• Improve site effectiveness by identifying patterns, addressing root causes, and ensuring fair policy application.
• Use data analytics to identify trends and drive practical initiatives.
• Execute and monitor employee engagement strategies and recognition programs.
• Coach leaders on performance feedback, team development, and employee relations matters.
• Ensure equitable talent practices across selection, development, and advancement decisions.
• Drive adoption of HR technology solutions and AI to enhance user experience.
