S&C Electric Company, a 100% employee-owned organization, offers a full-time Summer 2027 Internship in Human Resources. The intern will support HRBP activities, assist with reporting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing and corporate environment.

You will gain hands-on exposure to employee relations, talent management, workforce analytics, and HR operations while developing foundational strategic HR skills in a dynamic setting.

Formación

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, Industrial Relations or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer service approach.
• Aptitude in problem-solving.
• Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist HRBPs in supporting leaders and employees.
• Support workforce analytics, reporting and presentations.
• Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence and maintain confidentiality.
• Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules
• Assist with performance management processes and documentation.
• Support talent review and succession planning activities.
• Assist in the development of employment-related policies and practices
• Compile and analyze HR metrics (Headcount, Turnover, Attrition, Workforce Planning, Team Member Engagement)
• Assist team members with questions or concerns around career development, policies or leadership, or issues with fellow team members
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
• Support investigations by maintaining documentation and tracking action items.
• Help coordinate employee communication efforts.
• Participate in onboarding and orientation activities.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to support hiring activities.
• Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency.
• Assist with documentation of HR procedures and best practices.
• Participate in cross-functional HR projects and continuous improvement efforts.
• Participate in HR projects as requested
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Attend in-person or virtual meetings as requested or required
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with others
• Other responsibilities as assigned
