Job summary

Itron is seeking a People Analytics intern to support data collection, validation, and analysis of HR data. You will help build dashboards and reports that enable leaders to make data-driven decisions across a global organization in the utilities and energy sector.

You will collaborate with HR, HRIS, and Talent Acquisition to understand reporting needs, while exploring AI techniques to add predictive value to analyses.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's or graduate degree in HR/HRIS/Business Analytics/Data Analytics/IS/CS/Statistics.
• Strong data handling, reporting, analytics, or BI tool experience.
• Proficiency in Excel with data manipulation, formulas, pivot tables, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support People Analytics projects and routine reporting by collecting, organizing, validating, and analyzing workforce data to identify trends and actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, scorecards, and visualizations for data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with HR and global stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver analytics solutions.
• Explore AI and ML techniques to identify predictive patterns beyond standard dashboards.
• Prototype AI-powered reporting tools to translate data into actionable HR insights.
