Job summary

Methode Electronics Inc. is seeking a motivated HR Intern to support HR transformation, talent development, and digital enablement initiatives.

You will work across onboarding, analytics, and automation to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency. The role involves partnering with HR and business leaders, leveraging data to drive decisions, and contributing to employer branding and early-career programs.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field.
Strong interest in HR technology, AI, process improvement, people analytics, talent management, and organizational development.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, Workday, or other HR systems is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate processes, analyze data, and develop actionable recommendations.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Drive HR transformation and continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating processes and recommending improvements.
Leverage HR technology, AI, and automation to enhance productivity and data quality.
Assist with enhanced onboarding design and scalable training materials.
Contribute to leadership development and learning curriculum design.
Utilize HR data and analytics to generate actionable insights for decision-making.
Support internship and early-career programs, including recruitment and onboarding initiatives.
Assist Talent Acquisition and employer branding, including recruitment marketing and candidate communications.
Research emerging HR trends, AI applications, and workforce practices to support initiatives.
Develop SOPs, process maps, job aids, and knowledge resources for HR operations.
Collaborate on projects advancing workforce strategy and digital transformation objectives.
