Job summary

Global Power Components in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an HR Business Partner to serve as the primary site-level contact for employee relations and workforce support. You will own ER cases from intake to resolution, coach supervisors on performance management, and ensure consistent policy application.

Reporting to the HR Manager, this role blends hands-on casework with proactive coaching, partnering with operations leadership to address attendance, engagement, and staffing needs, while escalating

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of HR experience with direct ER case ownership.
• Experience independently managing employee relations casework, including investigations and documentation.
• Comfort coaching frontline supervisors through difficult, sometimes emotionally charged performance conversations.
• Sound judgment applying policy consistently while knowing when to escalate.
• Experience with Workday or comparable HRIS platforms.
• Bilingual Spanish is strongly preferred.
• Manufacturing or industrial environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own standard employee relations cases end-to-end: intake, investigation, recommendation, and documentation.
• Conduct workplace investigations following the company framework, ensuring confidentiality and consistency.
• Interpret and apply HR policies fairly and clearly.
• Coach supervisors through performance conversations and document outcomes.
• Partner with operations on daily workforce issues and staffing needs.
• Escalate complex or high-risk matters to the HR Manager with context and next steps.
