U.S. Inc.—a recruiting agency—seeks a Human Resource Specialist to manage payroll for 40+ employees, administer benefits, and coordinate with HR consultants. After training, the role is hybrid with 2 days remote and 3 days in person.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of related HR experience, with deep expertise in 401(k) design. Relocation to Redmond, WA is required and in-person work is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communication, public relations, business administration, or related field preferred.
• 7 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Deep expertise in 401(k) and benefit design.
• Accurate data entry skills with great attention to detail.
• A proactive, thoughtful, and timely approach to communication, analysis, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Execute timely and accurate processing of payroll for approximately 40+ exempt and non-exempt employees.
• Conduct background checks for new hires and enroll employees in health insurance and 401(k).
• Handle termination process and removal from health insurance and 401(k).
• Communicate with HR consultants and employment lawyers to resolve HR issues.
• Maintain personnel files and time-off records.
• Manage 401(k) activities and payroll contributions with provider coordination.
