Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a Full-time Benefits Specialist in Winona, MN to support US and International employee benefits with a focus on leave of absence administration. After onboarding, a flexible schedule may be offered.

Responsibilities include administering family, medical, and military leaves, guiding employees on policies, assisting with forms, preparing communications, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented.
• Demonstrate strong organization, time management, planning and prioritizing abilities.
• Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Administering leaves of absence (family, medical, military) by phone and email.
• Providing guidance to employees regarding company policies and procedures.
• Assisting employees with questions and completion of forms.
• Preparing employee communication pieces.
• Ensuring compliance with Federal, State and Local guidelines.
