Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking an Employee Benefit Specialist to serve as the central contact for FMLA, disability and other leave programs. The role requires accurate data entry, timely leave tracking, and communication with employees, benefits providers and plant leaders.

You will support benefits enrollment, Workday data integrity, and open enrollment activities while collaborating with HR and safety teams. A high school diploma is required, with associate degree preferred, and at least one year

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience within a human resources generalist environment.
• Experience in leave administration with knowledge of FMLA and ADA.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook); Workday knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee FMLA, Disability and personal leave tasks per Company policies and legal requirements; enter leave and return to work dates in the system and follow up on inconsistencies.
• Act as point of contact for employees, corporate benefits and plant leaders; respond to benefit questions and assist with claim resolution and enrollment processes.
• Update enrollment, marital status and dependent verification in Workday; partner with Corporate Benefits when needed.
• Partner with Safety/EHS on Workers’ Compensation claims, ensuring data is entered correctly and documentation collected.
• Lead open enrollment events and inform employees about changes to benefit plans.
