Opti Staffing Group is partnering with a local manufacturing company in the Sherwood, OR area to recruit an organized HR Assistant. This role supports HR files, leave administration, benefits, and workers’ compensation while serving as a trusted resource for employees and managers.

You will coordinate recruiting, trainings, audits, and data entry, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy. This hands-on role offers growth in a collaborative team with a strong emphasis on reliable HR support.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of HR experience preferred.
• Proficient in benefits, FMLA, workers’ compensation, and HR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and organize employee HR files and documentation.
• Track absences, incidents, and HR information.
• Assist with FMLA and employee leave administration.
• Support benefit administration and monthly reconciliation.
• Provide documents for disability and life insurance claims.
• Assist with workers’ compensation claims and audits.
• Coordinate recruiting activities and interview scheduling.
• Assist with HR audits, reporting, and data entry.
• Collaborate with Payroll and other departments to ensure accurate employee data.
