Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing HR.
• Experience supporting hourly and salaried staff across multiple states.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to think analytically and manage change.

Responsibilities

• Serves as HR business partner to the plant operations team
• Supervises the plant HR team; provides coaching and guidance
• Plans and administers policies relating to all phases of human resources activities
• Ensures policies and reporting are in compliance
• Recruits, interviews, and selects employees to fill vacant positions
• Assists with employee orientations to foster a positive work environment
• Conducts employee relations investigations
• Supports payroll with pay and timekeeping concerns / issues
• Provides strategic input to departmental projects
• Makes data driven decisions and develops sustainable solutions
• Continuously evaluates existing programs and processes, and proposes new initiatives
