Job summary

ofi North America (Olam Food Ingredients) seeks an HR Operations Generalist to support the Boardman Oregon Plant. You will handle staffing, employment processing, benefits, HRIS, safety, and employee relations, advising managers and staff on HR policies in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Three years HR experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Intermediate MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to travel up to 15% and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Execute HR administrative processes and services at local level.
• Administer compensation, benefits systems, and employee communications.
• Support staffing, succession planning, and recruitment activities.
• Develop and deliver training and development programs.
• Manage employee relations and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain HRIS data and process promotions/transfers timely.
• Coordinate LOA administration and leave monitoring.
• Oversee payroll practices in accordance with laws and policies.
• Engage with universities and agencies to meet staffing needs.
• Handle terminations, exit interviews, and off-boarding activities.
