Job summary

Hollywood Casino St. Louis is seeking an HR Assistant to support recruitment efforts across the property. You will greet applicants, assist with the application process, manage the ATS, and coordinate paperwork for new hires and transfers.

You will work to ensure compliance with gaming laws, maintain organizational filing, and assist leaders with procedures, timelines, and documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• One to two years of HR or office experience preferred.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word).
• Flexible schedule.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Fluent and literate in English.
• Physically mobile with ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supports internal and external recruitment efforts for the property.
• Greets applicants and employees, answers questions, assists with applications, answers calls, administers assessments.
• Maintains the Applicant Tracking System (posting/removal of positions, candidate documentation).
• Reviews transfer requests and ensures requirements are met; tracks transfer processes.
• Ensures completion of new hires, gaming licenses, drug tests, and transfers paperwork.
• Researches rehire data and forwards to Recruiters for approval.
• Instructs leaders on recruitment and paperwork procedures.
• Keeps applications organized and purges as needed.
• Manages projects, timelines, and follow-through; organizes Career Center.
• Monitors compliance with federal/state/gaming laws.
• Represents the company positively and adheres to policies.
• Performs other related duties.
