Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Human Resource Analyst 1 to support employee relations and help resolve workplace issues. The role involves assisting with investigations, performance management, unemployment claims, and SEAP, with opportunities to collaborate with agency leaders across offices.

The position offers full-time work with a hybrid telework option and a standard 8:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule. Applicants must meet PA residency requirements and have a relevant education/experience.

Qualifications

• One year of paraprofessional analytical experience and a bachelor's degree.
• Experience in employee relations and applying HR policies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Case Review: Examine grievances and related information to support consistent responses
• Information Gathering: Collect facts needed for investigations and analyses
• Appeal Support: Assist agency attorneys with Civil Service appeals and EEOC complaints
• Contract Application: Learn to apply provisions of contracts and MOUs
• Agreement Assistance: Help review or develop Local Agreements for offices or boards
