Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Human Resource Analyst 1 to support employee relations, investigate concerns, and guide managers on policies and procedures. You will collaborate with leaders to resolve issues and strengthen workplace practices.

You will assist with performance management, unemployment claims, and SEAP, performing duties that promote fair, consistent human resource practices across state offices.

Qualifications

• Experience in employee relations or HR investigations is preferred.
• Experience guiding managers on policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with civil service processes and equal employment opportunity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review grievances and related information to support consistent responses.
• Collect facts needed for investigations and analyses.
• Assist with Civil Service appeals, and HR complaints handling.
• Learn to apply provisions of contracts and MOUs.
• Review or develop Local Agreements for offices or commissions.
