Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Human Resource Analyst 2 to support Employee Relations and Workforce Support across District 8-0. The role focuses on disciplinary procedures, grievance activities, contract interpretation, and advising managers on HR matters.

Responsibilities include case preparation, arbitration support, and unemployment compensation representation, with telework options and a standard 7:30 AM–3:30 PM schedule. Strong judgment and communication are essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience with disciplinary procedures, grievances, and contract interpretation is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret agreements and advise staff on contract matters.

Responsibilities

  • Review cases and coordinate disciplinary actions.
  • Investigate grievances and participate in Step 1–3 meetings.
  • Prepare case summaries and assist in arbitration and Civil Service appeals.
  • Assist unemployment compensation and represent the department at hearings.
  • Provide policy guidance and interpret labor agreements.
