Cimarron Software Services, Inc. in Houston, TX seeks a System Engineer to support Boeing's CST-100 Starliner spacecraft as part of NASA's Commercial Crew Program. This position is 100% onsite located in Houston, TX.

Key duties include verification and validation of system requirements, developing test plans, and maintaining SysML models to reflect architecture and digital engineering practices. The role requires 6+ years in systems engineering and a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Experience in system architecture, requirements/interface development and allocation, verification and validation, integration and test, system trades, and risk management.
• Experience reviewing test plans and reports.
• Experience applying MBSE concepts and model-based approaches.

Responsabilités

• Verify and validate system requirements with traceability across system, hardware, and software components.
• Support and review regression testing, test plans, procedures, schedules, and documentation for verification and certification.
• Analyze test results to verify design and performance against government and program requirements.
• Define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and ensure interface compatibility.
• Support analyses for safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, and other quality factors for mission success.
• Maintain digital system models using SysML and UAF to represent complex systems.
• Ensure models are accurate and compliant with standards, supporting engineering decisions.
• Capture and maintain traceability of requirements within the architecture model.
