Cimarron Inc. in Seal Beach, CA, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer experienced with software system design, requirements, and interfaces. The role is onsite with possible remote work and has a 6-12 month horizon.

You will lead MBSE efforts using Cameo, develop and maintain SRS, define interfaces, and coordinate with software, test, and hardware teams. A Bachelor's degree and the ability to obtain a security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience.
• Willing and able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Cameo experience.
• Experience with development and maintenance of SW Requirements Spec (SRS).
• Experience with systems design for HW/SW systems; ability to develop system level design flows/threads informing the SW requirements/design.
• Experience with interface definition between multiple SW systems and between HW and SW.
• Experience supporting SW Formal Qual Test (FQT).
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) throughout the system lifecycle.
• Develop system-level designs for integrated hardware/software systems.
• Define interfaces between multiple software systems and between hardware and software components.
• Perform MBSE using Cameo Systems Modeler to capture requirements, architecture, and interfaces.
• Support Software Formal Qualification Test (FQT) planning, execution, and documentation.
• Coordinate with software development, test, and hardware engineering teams to resolve requirement and interface issues.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior systems engineers.
• Participate in SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR reviews and prepare associated engineering artifacts.
