Job summary

Cimarron Inc. seeks a Command & Data Handling (C&DH) Support Engineer to support Boeing's CST-100 Starliner development at Kennedy Space Center, Florida. The role focuses on managing C&DH architecture, interfaces, and documentation within NASA's Commercial Crew Program.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in C&DH engineering for space or airborne systems, with experience in data buses, software/firmware integration, and rigorous technical verification. U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in C&DH engineering.
• Experience in space or airborne C&DH systems.
• Knowledge of C&DH architectures, data buses (MIL-STD-1553, Ethernet), and data processing systems.
• Understanding of C&DH software and firmware integration.
• Excellent technical documentation review and verification skills.
• Bachelor's degree.
• U.S. Citizenship; access to federal facilities; Real ID compliant driver’s license or state ID.

Responsibilities

• Manage C&DH architecture requirements, configurations, and interfaces.
• Track and verify C&DH system-level design documentation, ensuring compliance with program requirements.
• Assign and track tasks and action items related to C&DH subsystems across engineering teams.
• Coordinate with hardware and software teams to ensure C&DH system integration aligns with program objectives.
• Review and validate C&DH-related stakeholder slide decks, technical documentation, and meeting minutes.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with C&DH engineers and stakeholders to track progress and resolve issues.
