Job summary

Cimarron Software Services, Inc. is seeking a Command & Data Handling (C&DH) Support Engineer to support Boeing's CST-100 Starliner spacecraft as part of NASA's Commercial Crew Program at Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

The role requires 5+ years of C&DH experience, strong understanding of data buses, and proven ability to coordinate across hardware and software teams. This is a 100% onsite position with full-time employment and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. Citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
• This is a sensitive/safety-sensitive position and is subject to DOT random drug and alcohol testing.
• This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver’s license or state-issued ID at hire.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience in Command and Data Handling (C&DH) engineering, particularly in space or airborne systems.
• Knowledge of C&DH architectures, data buses (e.g., MIL-STD-1553, Ethernet), and data processing systems.
• Understanding of C&DH software and firmware integration.
• Excellent technical documentation review and verification skills.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills, with experience working across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage C&DH architecture requirements, configurations, and interfaces.
• Track and verify C&DH system-level design documentation, ensuring compliance with program requirements.
• Assign and track tasks and action items related to C&D subsystems across engineering teams.
• Coordinate with hardware and software teams to ensure C&D system integration aligns with program objectives.
• Review and validate C&D-related stakeholder slide decks, technical documentation, and meeting minutes.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with C&D engineers and stakeholders to track progress and resolve issues.
